This Intermediate sea kayaking course in Pembrokeshire takes the basics of boat handling, rescues and tidal planning and moves them on, into a more dynamic environment.
Emphasis of the course is on sea kayak handling & skills development at BC Sea Kayak Award and Coastal Sea Kayak Award level. You will have the opportunity to develop the various sea kayaking skills along the wild Pembrokeshire coastline, whether this is tidal paddling, close quartering or managing your kayak in swell and or small surf.
This course will take you on some of our iconic Pembrokeshire coastal trips. These trips will vary depending on the conditions at the time but all the trips will be along stunning rocky shores with some tide, surf beaches and surrounded by abundant wildlife.
This course can be tied in with BC Personal Performance Sea Awards.
During the course we will endeavor to cover:
Rescues

Surf
We have consistent surf with beaches that having varying levels of exposure to our Atlantic swells, this allows us to choose the right size surf to help you develop your surfing skills
